How Labcelerate fits securely into your existing laboratory environment

Labcelerate runs alongside your existing LIMS and ELN as a read-only intelligence layer, without replacing them, changing validated workflows, or becoming another system of record. Operational Intelligence and Configuration Intelligence can be deployed independently or together from the same Labcelerate deployment.

Deployment

Run Labcelerate in your own AWS, Azure, or on-prem Docker environment. Your laboratory data stays in your environment, and Labcelerate connects to your LIMS and ELN read-only. You choose which AI providers to use, how credentials are managed, and how AI capabilities are configured for your deployment.

Early evaluation can begin without connecting your LIMS or ELN. Start with demonstration content, then import representative records and documents from your own environment.

End-user delivery options

Labcelerate is built to serve people and laboratory workflows.

• In-browser Workspace. Browser-based access for scientists, QA/QC, research managers, configuration teams, and others.
• In-workflow, from LIMS and ELN. Called from LIMS/ELN workflow code, such as LabWare LIMS BASIC routines, using the current record as context and returning structured answers into the native workflow. The user stays in the system of record while Labcelerate works behind the scenes.

Administration

Administrators configure access rules, AI providers, credentials, and deployment settings through the Admin Console.

Design principles and guardrails

• Runs in your environment – Dedicated single-tenant deployment in your environment.
• Read-only integration – Labcelerate does not modify LIMS or ELN records.
• No new system of record – Your LIMS and ELN remain the authoritative systems. Labcelerate does not replace them.
• Validated workflows remain intact – Day-to-day execution and validation boundaries of the LIMS / ELN are preserved.
• Customer controls AI providers – You choose the providers, manage the keys, and control how prompts and content are processed.
• User-controlled handoff – Users decide how generated content is applied into the LIMS / ELN, where audit trails are enforced.
• Human scientific judgment – Labcelerate surfaces related records, documents, and images, summarizes them, and shows the relationships among them. Scientific interpretation, conclusions, and decisions remain with your scientists, reviewers, and quality teams.
• No telemetry to Qarbine – Qarbine receives no customer prompts, content, or usage data.
